The Problem: Oakridge is a stop. NOT a destination.
Insight: Plenty of people pass through Oakridge on their way to Willamette Pass, Crater Lake, or for a fun Mountain Biking trail, but they don’t have an incentive to stay. There is an extreme lack of awareness and excitement toward events like the artwalk and for the city as a whole.
Approach: We are going to embrace the small-town charm of Oakridge. We are NOT trying to make the town something it’s not. Romanticize what it already has to offer to make it a place visitors are excited to explore. Their unapologeticness is what makes them special.
